GPS map camera for photos with location and date

Keep the place visible, right on the photo.

Trustamp is a GPS camera for Android that brings together a map, location details and a timestamp in a customizable watermark. Record site visits, delivery stops and field work without a separate caption for every shot.

Choose the location details your work needs

Check the template preview to see which fields will appear on your photo.

Place

GPS map and address

Include a map for visual context and an address for a readable location. Useful when several jobs or delivery stops look alike.

Position

Latitude and longitude

Show coordinates when a street address is not enough, such as an outdoor asset or a large work site. Review the device's location before capturing.

Context

Altitude and compass direction

Add elevation and direction to the stamp for field documentation. These are device readings, not a substitute for professional surveying instruments.

Time

Date and time watermark

Keep the time alongside location. Resize and reposition your watermark so it does not obscure the condition or object you are documenting.

How to take GPS-stamped photos on Android

Enable location

Open Trustamp and allow camera and location access. Wait for a location reading and check the displayed address or coordinates before you shoot.

Set up the watermark

Choose a template with the map and location fields you need. Enable altitude or direction where available, then adjust the size and position in the preview.

Capture and share

Take your photo with the location stamp visible. Share the photo yourself, or select several shots in the gallery to create a PDF photo report.

A location stamp and a witness record serve different purposes

Watermark mode puts readable information on your photo. Optional Witness mode registers time and location with Trustamp's server and provides a public lookup link. A witness record concerns time and location; it does not prove what appears in the picture.

For image integrity, optional C2PA signing adds a Content Credential to the original photo. Trustamp is built on the C2PA open standard; its signing certificate is currently self-issued while the Trust List application is in progress. A compatible verifier may report an untrusted issuer. GPS camera questions

What is a GPS map camera?

A GPS map camera adds location information to the photos you take. Trustamp combines a visible date and time stamp with GPS details and an optional map, so a recipient can read the location on the picture itself.

Can I take a photo with location and date?

Yes. Allow location access, choose the fields in your watermark template and check the preview before taking the photo. Available fields include date, time, address, coordinates, altitude and compass direction.

Does a GPS watermark prove a location is correct?

A visible watermark alone is not independent verification. GPS readings depend on your device and surroundings. Optional witnessing records time and location with the server; it does not independently establish that the GPS reading is accurate or verify the image pixels.

Can I use the camera offline?

You can capture photos and local watermarks offline. GPS availability depends on the device and conditions. Map tiles and address lookup may need a connection; do not assume a fresh map or street address will load offline. Pending witness requests need connectivity to reach the server.

Is this a geotag photo tool or a visible stamp?

If you are looking for a geotag photo tool, distinguish location metadata inside a file from a visible location watermark. This guide covers the map and GPS details printed on the photo. Do not rely on hidden metadata surviving a messaging or social platform upload.

Put location photos to work

Proof of delivery photos help organize drop-off records. Inspection photos keep maintenance and property visits in context. For automatic date and time stamps, start with the Trustamp timestamp camera.
